Rules, Terms and Conditions

Important! Please read this page in full if you plan to purchase advertising space at 80by15.com. By purchasing advertising space at this site you are agreeing to all the Rules, Terms and Conditions that are outlined on this page.

By purchasing ad space I agree that:

  1. My advertising image and information contains materials (image, text, etc.) that are suitable for all ages. This means the image contains nothing that may be considered obscene, offensive, or of an "adult nature". If you have questions about your image please contact us and ask about your image before you make a purchase. Otherwise you will be asked to submit a replacement image that follows our guidelines.
  2. 80by15.com is to be the only party that may determine what material (image, text, etc.) is acceptable and suitable for all ages.
  3. My advertising image and information contains material that I have the legal right to submit. This means I have not violated any rights (copyright, trademark, etc.) and will not hold 80by15.com or any person associated with this site responsible (legal or otherwise) for the material (image, text, etc.) that I have submitted.
  4. Under no circumstance will 80by15.com be held responsible (legal or otherwise) for the materials that I submit or that are contained on my website.
  5. My website contains no script(s) that are considered harmful to any user's computer. This includes spyware, malware, viruses, or other materials that may be installed without the user's knowledge and/or acceptance.
  6. I own the website that I have submitted a link to or I have the right to submit a link for this website on the owner's behalf.
  7. If my website is changed in the future to contain any material that is considered unsuitable by 80by15.com that my advertising image and information may be removed without a refund.
  8. Once my advertising image and information has been entered into the 80by15.com database that I may no longer receive a refund if I fail to comply with these Rules, Terms and Conditions.
  9. I have the right to request the removal of my advertising image and information from 80by15.com at any time. If so I waive my right to a refund of any kind.
  10. I will not hold 80by15.com responsible for any downtime of their web hosting service.
  11. 80by15.com is not responsible in any way for the information contained at my website.
  12. The advertising image that I have submitted is in GIF or JPG format only and that it is not an animated image. Failure to comply will result in 80by15.com asking for a replacement image in the appropriate format or having 80by15.com use a generic 80x15 GIF image in place of my image until I submit an acceptable image.
  13. I am not purchasing any part of 80by15.com and own no part in said website. I am only purchasing advertising space in order to place an image related to my website.
  14. Once my advertising image and information has been placed on 80by15.com that my image and website link may not be changed.
  15. I may request an "upgrade" to a higher category and/or level at any time, but I understand that 80by15.com takes this on a case by case basis and may deny me this upgrade if they choose to do so.
  16. Once I have made a purchase I will contact 80by15.com and give them any and all needed information to create my advertising link. This information will include, but it not limited to: Advertising Image, Website Name (Title), Website Link (URL), Alternate Text for Adverting Image, Category and Level of the Purchase I made.
  17. The website link (URL) I submit may only be of the HyperText Transfer Protcol (URL must begin with HTTP). FTP, HTTPS, etc. are not accepted.
  18. After I have purchased my advertising space that it may take a few days before the information can be input and shown on the 80by15.com website.
  19. I will keep my email address current with 80by15.com so that they may contact me.

80by15.com agrees that:

  1. We will keep this site live and online for up to five (5) years.
  2. We will keep website downtime to a minimum. If this means we must change web hosts to do so we will.
  3. We will never, under any circumstance sell, trade, release the information that you have submitted to us to any person or company without your permission.
  4. We will make every attempt to contact you when it is needed. We will attempt to contact you multiple times if needed. Failure to get in touch with you or your failure to respond may result in your adverting information being removed from our website.
  5. We will provide you with an ID number and method to check the number of clicks that your advertising image has after you've made a purchase and we've entered your information into our database.
  6. We will keep the 80by15.com website up to date and continue to answer any and all questions that you may have to the best of our ability. We will do our best to reply to every email in a timely fashion but we cannot anticipate the number of email we will be receiving at any given time. "Timely Fashion" may mean your email will not be responded to for a few days.
  7. Once all advertising space has been filled at this website that 80by15.com will have donated $100,000 (USD) to charity!
